About The Position

Dune has a million users and 1,000+ paying accounts but we lack a growth system for identifying B2B users, driving them down the self-serve funnel and finding qualified enterprise leads for our sales team. With this role you have an epic opportunity to build a world-class PLG motion on top of our already massive set of user and customer activity. We’re looking for a Growth PM to build and operationalise Dune’s growth engine across all of our products. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, data, and sales… bridging insights from usage analytics into campaigns, experiments, and funnels that drive acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion. You’ll be Dune’s first dedicated Growth PM, laying the foundation for how we convert self-serve demand into enterprise revenue, while also scaling our broader PLG motion across products like Dune Analytics and in the future SIM and beyond. This is a builder role: you’ll define the playbook, run scrappy experiments, and partner with a data contractor and cross-functional teams to make Dune’s growth engine a reality.

Requirements

  • Experience driving growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell—not just one slice of the funnel.
  • Comfort both strategizing and rolling up your sleeves to run campaigns, set up tools, and ship experiments.
  • Comfortable hacking together quick solutions while keeping long-term scalability in mind.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, product analytics (we run on Amplitude and Metabase), A/B testing, onboarding flows, CRM/automation tools.
  • Ability to define metrics, instrument funnels, and turn product data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with data teams or SQL to self-serve insights.
  • Prior work in product-led growth, ideally with self-serve → enterprise motions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at a startup building growth foundations from scratch.
  • Exposure to crypto, data infrastructure, or developer-focused products.

Responsibilities

  • Build our growth engine. Stand up the core systems (campaigns, lifecycle journeys, qualification, analytics) that turn signups into pipeline and revenue.
  • Design and execute growth experiments (in-product flows, onboarding optimizations, email campaigns, funnel tests) to increase activation and conversion.
  • Work closely with product, design, and marketing to operationalize user data and create full-funnel motions (from inbound to upsell).
  • Define growth metrics, build dashboards, and partner with a data contractor to surface insights – and act on them.
  • Support all Dune product lines by tailoring growth strategies to different user journeys and GTM needs.
  • Be willing to get hands-on by running manual outreach, building scrappy workflows (in Google Sheets, HubSpot, etc) while setting us up to automate later.
