The Growth Process Program Manager role is a key member of the Optum Client COE. This role is responsible for setting and executing the strategy for enterprise growth processes and how we leverage technologies, such as Salesforce GO. In this role, they will lead from a business perspective, define the strategy and expectations for enterprise growth processes. This role will lead the design of the system, Salesforce GO, needed to run the process, and drive and sustain adoption of the process. The Growth Process Program Manager will drive cross-functional alignment across Segment Growth teams, using influence and collaboration. This role is vital to ensure the tools we provide to enable the growth professionals to work efficiently and effectively, and in a way that provides data to inform the health of our growth teams, client relationships and product performance. About the Client Center of Excellence The Client COE will focus on enhancing client transparency by collaborating across the organization to ensure data is linked back to the client, streamlining experience by reducing number of systems, and developing tools aimed at maximizing adoption and effective usage. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in growth operations, strategic consulting, product strategy and design and professional services
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience using qualitative and quantitative data to back up assumptions, design solutions, and when needed, develop business cases
  • Proven ability to analyze complex market opportunities and develop competitive solutions based on an understanding of the business environment, competitive landscape, and objectives
  • Proven ability to listen to and understand organizational needs and champion the development of complex initiatives in response
  • Demonstrated track record of active collaboration, engagement, oversight, and strategy development of key growth opportunities
  • Proven solid executive presence and communication skills, including proven capability to effectively present plans and advocate strategies to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven systems thinker with the ability to proactively identify downstream impacts of strategic decisions across large, matrixed organizations
  • Proven ability to successfully navigate ambiguity, complexity, and rapid change with an entrepreneurial mindset and solid decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow intimate, consultative relationships with growth leaders to understand strategy and business needs and translate into data requirements and execution
  • Translate strategic priorities and evolving client expectations into actionable insights that enhance the relevance, competitiveness, and performance of the portfolio across all markets
  • Bring qualitative and quantitative data into the assessment of progress (and reality)
  • Examples - user interviews, assessment of help requests, evaluation of errors or process adoption
  • Partner with Optum Tech to continually design and optimize on the technology solution
  • Establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders to assess progress and realization of value of solutions
