We’re building the next generation of our growth and commerce technology — and we’re looking for an ambitious Growth Platform Engineer & Architect to help lead the way. As our portfolio of brands transitions toward more independent operations, we’re reimagining how marketing, data, and eCommerce connect — from the ground up. This role will be central to designing that future: a modern, secure, and performance-driven growth platform that scales. You’ll partner closely with the VP of Technology to see the big picture, defining and implementing the systems that power acquisition, conversion, and customer retention — while integrating seamlessly with our service, accounting, and distribution systems. You bring deep expertise in distilling opportunities, building proof of concepts to persuade change, and advising peers on architecture principles.

Requirements

  • Proven success designing and building business systems from the ground up, including integrated solutions that support the full order lifecycle and end-to-end customer experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular, Node.js/TypeScript, and SQL/Postgres is a plus, but we’re open to architects whose core expertise is in other stacks—as long as you can quickly get up to speed on our current technologies and help shape a clear strategy, whether that’s optimizing what we have or guiding a transition to something new.
  • Experience with key Saas platforms such as NetSuite and Salesforce and common pre-built integrations.
  • A strong grasp of experimentation and measurement is a plus — A/B testing, incrementality, and revenue attribution.
  • A builder’s mindset: you think in systems, understand trade-offs, and love creating clarity from complexity.
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in designing and architecting systems supporting ad technologies (Meta/Google, etc), ecommerce, and fulfillment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Salesforce, NetSuite, Shopify, Warehouse systems.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and API development.
  • Familiarity with Google tag management and server to server integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the rebuild of our growth technology stack – solutioning for web analytics tracking to checkout, attribution, and the integrations to core systems such as the ERP, Warehouse, and Data.
  • Design for independence and scalability – documenting the future state data flows, and making smart decisions about what to build vs. buy.
  • Modernize our eCommerce systems – evolving our web apps and Salesforce platform to improve conversions and reduce operational overhead and user errors.
  • Drive innovation with AI – helping lead the adoption of AI for engineering across teams.
  • Champion privacy, compliance, and reliability – ensuring systems respect user consent, minimize data collection, and meet high performance and uptime standards.
  • Mentor engineers and deliver a clear technical vision.

  • The base salary range is $136,000-$170,000, plus bonus potential.
