At Paraform, we’re building the infrastructure behind the next generation of recruiting firms. Our platform powers top recruiters placing talent into startups like Ramp, Decagon, and Hightouch — and we do it by treating recruiters like high-performance partners, not vendors. This role sits at the center of our supply-side growth and operations. You’ll work directly with Strategic Operations and Strategic Projects Leads whose role is to partner with elite Paraform recruiters, helping them scale their businesses, close top-tier talent, and win more clients. It’s part operator, part strategist, and part growth partner. We’re looking for a Growth Engineer to join our engineering team and accelerate marketplace growth with intelligent automations. In this hands-on, TypeScript-focused role, you’ll move quickly between scrappy MVPs and production-ready systems, collaborating with a world-class operations team to scale their workflows. This is a chance to own high-impact projects that shape the future of Paraform—building the systems and automations that turn ideas into measurable growth at scale.

  • Build dashboards (“Paratools”) that surface insights from candidate and recruiter data
  • Develop Slack automations that streamline recruiting operations and communication
  • Connect and integrate systems across the business to enable faster experimentation
  • Ship MVPs quickly (in hours/days), then scale proven experiments into robust systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize growth initiatives that directly impact business metrics
  • Surface unseen opportunities and boost team impact with intelligent automations for repetitive workflows
  • TypeScript expertise and comfort working in an existing codebase
  • Strong database experience, ideally having worked with structured human data, e.g. candidate and recruiter data
  • UI development skills for dashboards and lightweight internal tools
  • Experience with systems integration and automation (e.g., Slack, APIs, workflow automation)
  • Bias for experimentation and learning — ability to balance scrappy MVP builds with scalable engineering practices
  • Background in Series A/B startups or fast-moving environments (experience at automation- or workflow-driven companies like Notion, Zapier, or similar is a plus)
  • Computer Science degree (preferred, not required)
  • Competitive compensation
  • Equity
  • Opportunity to grow with the company
