You will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one shared goal: “Get quality and secure solutions in the customers’ hands as soon as possible.” We are seeking a curious and analytical Growth (Business Development) Intern to support Sabel’s business development and capture efforts within the government contracting (GovCon) space. This internship is ideal for students interested in business strategy, government contracting, market research, or sales operations who want exposure to how mission-focused organizations identify, pursue, and win new work. You’ll support opportunity research, pipeline management, and capture activities that directly contribute to Sabel’s growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. This role is not eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), or other student visa-based work authorizations
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your junior or senior year, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Political Science, or a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize information and communicate findings clearly
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in government contracting, federal acquisition, or public sector markets
  • Exposure to CRM tools, opportunity tracking, or market research platforms
  • Coursework related to strategy, sales, or public sector business

Responsibilities

  • Assist with researching and identifying new government contracting opportunities.
  • Support maintenance and organization of the business development pipeline and CRM data.
  • Assist with tracking opportunities, key milestones, and follow-up actions.
  • Support capture and proposal teams with data gathering, summaries, and documentation.
  • Conduct market and customer research to support growth strategies.
  • Help prepare basic reports and dashboards to support business development planning.
  • Collaborate with business development, capture, and proposal stakeholders across the organization.
