About The Position

The Account Manager is responsible for managing, strengthening, and growing relationships with existing customers within the Fluid Management Division, which includes the Injectech and Resenex product lines. This role is a “farmer” position, focused on deepening engagement with current accounts, ensuring excellent service, forecast management, managing commercial terms, and identifying opportunities for organic growth through new product introductions, new programs, and engagement with adjacent customer divisions. The Account Manager will function as the primary commercial interface for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal operational, engineering, and technical teams. Success in this role requires a blend of commercial acumen, relationship management, and disciplined follow-through, with a strong understanding of precision injection molding and fluid management applications in medical device, life science, and pharmaceutical markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Program Management, or Commercial roles within medical device, life science, pharmaceutical, or related regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of B2B manufacturing, ideally with injection molding, fluid management components, or precision plastics.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with experience using CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with connectors, fluid management components, check valves, tubing interfaces, or related components.
  • Experience working with OEMs in medical, biotech, or pharma markets.
  • Technical aptitude to collaborate with engineers and understand customer requirements at a design-for-manufacturing level.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial communications with assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders across engineering, sourcing, quality, and program management.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to understand customer needs, forecast, performance expectations, and upcoming requirements.
  • Drive exceptionally high customer satisfaction by proactively addressing issues and maintaining strong internal advocacy on behalf of customers.
  • Manage customer pricing, quoting, and commercial terms, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company profitability requirements.
  • Lead commercial discussions for changes in scope, ECNs, volume adjustments, and contract updates.
  • Monitor revenue performance across assigned accounts and identify risks or variances.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations to maintain accurate forecasts within the ERP/CRM systems.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts, including: o New product introductions (NPI) o Expansion into new programs or platforms o Growth into new customer divisions, sites, or global locations
  • Work with Application Engineering and Program Management teams to evaluate technical fit, support quoting, and drive new opportunities from concept to award.
  • Maintain a structured understanding of customer roadmaps, upcoming initiatives, and areas where Injectech or Resenex can add value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Tooling, Quality, Program Management, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communicate customer updates, risks, successes, and strategic developments to internal leadership.
  • Participate in demand planning and S&OP processes by providing accurate customer forecasts and program updates.
  • Maintain accurate and current information in HubSpot for all assigned accounts, including contacts, opportunities, communications, and forecasts.
  • Support the development of annual account plans and revenue projections.
  • Track and report KPIs related to account performance, quoting activity, and growth initiatives.
  • Refine sales/order processes and train/ensure process and documentation are being followed.
