Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical and managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with P&L experience.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Committed to safety and engineering excellence.
  • Strong understanding of advanced in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies (e.g., bioremediation, chemical oxidation/reduction, PFAS treatment).
  • Strong understanding of vapor mitigation, air handling systems, NPDES, and temporary discharge permitting.
  • Strong understanding of hydrogeologic and chemical processes governing contaminant behavior.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations and guidelines and their implications on findings and conclusions in studies.

Nice To Haves

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university is preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee both temporary dewatering treatment systems and permanent remedial systems for groundwater and surface water applications.
  • Conduct and interpret hydrogeologic and contaminant fate and transport evaluations to guide system design.
  • Provide field oversight during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of treatment systems.
  • Assemble project teams and provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project financials, resource allocation, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and permit applications for treatment systems such as filtration, carbon and other media adsorption, air stripping, and chemical treatment.
  • Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through networking, proposals, and client relationships.
  • Manage branch budgets, forecasts, hiring, and staff development.
  • Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement.
