Requirements

• AA in Education, required
• BA/BS Education preferred
• Two (2) years’ experience working with children
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians and school district personnel

Responsibilities

• Coordination and implementation of lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding children’s developmental growth through observations, anecdotal reports, and conferences
• Collaborate with school district personnel to include principals, teachers, administrative and custodial staff as complimentary supports to programming
• Working with the Site Supervisor and Center Director to orient, supervise and mentor staff by providing necessary tools, information, and support to ensure success
• Facilitate family intake and enrollment process
