The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join its Catering and Conference Services team as a Conference Services Manager. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing a memorable and unparalleled guest experience for our group sales clients.

  • Sell and service group and catering events for the hotel.
  • Work cohesively with the Banquet and Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless service.
  • Drive revenue and exceed goals through upsells in Banquets food & beverage and Spa revenues to assigned groups.
  • Forecast food & beverage events from assigned groups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage and lead follow up on rooms and food & beverage attrition.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, understanding their needs and working with them through execution of their event.
  • Manage all aspects of events, including the room setup, catering, and other special requests.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee the execution of event, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain budgets, communicating to clients about estimated expenses.
  • Prepare and distribute event documents, such as Banquet Event Orders, Diagrams, Resume, Budget Estimates, and post-event reports.
  • Lead Planning Site Visits.
  • At least 3 years of management experience within Catering or Conference Services is required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business or similar discipline preferred.
  • Salesforces/Delphi experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Display exceptional negotiation and upselling skills.
  • Ability to organize and to proficiently read, write and communicate in English.
  • Have basic knowledge in technology including audio and visual equipment.
