About The Position

The Group Services Lead at Caesars Entertainment is responsible for training and supporting the Group Services Department, acting as a liaison for meeting planners, group clients, and guests. This role involves managing booking and housing processes, maintaining software systems, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to group clients.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in any field, or higher preferred
  • Minimum of two years in the hospitality industry with an emphasis in Sales and/or Hotel Operations preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (AS400, Passkey, Delphi)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform duties with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as telephones and copiers
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Train all Group Services Coordinators
  • Assist with booking/housing needs for assigned groups
  • Maintain office efficiencies by planning and implementing office systems
  • Perform tasks associated with housing needs for groups
  • Review sales contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Ensure all special guest requests are fulfilled
  • Prepare reconciliation of master rooming specifications
  • Act as key liaison between Sales, Convention Service Managers, and group contacts
  • Assist guests in booking ancillary revenue opportunities
  • Provide personalized assistance at check-in
  • Communicate with all Departments affected by group bookings
  • Build group blocks, rates, and room accommodations in property management systems
  • Maintain weekly pick-up reports for groups
  • Attend pre-conferences and post-conference meetings with clients
  • Monitor rate, availability, bookings, and content information for all channels of distribution
