About The Position

At SimplePractice, our team is dedicated to improving the health and wellness industry by building a suite of innovative solutions for practitioners and their clients. Our product supports practitioners on their clinical journey to becoming licensed, helps them manage their business and practice once they’re up and running, and enables new clients to discover and interact with practitioners. Taking a practitioner-first approach in everything we do makes it possible for health and wellness practitioners to devote more time to their clients while they use SimplePractice to start, grow, and maintain a successful private practice. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Corporate Development and Strategy to help identify and execute strategic opportunities that fuel our expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales, preferably Revenue Cycle Management tools and solutions, preferably within the healthcare technology industry
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Hubspot preferred) and proficient in Google Suite applications
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events

Responsibilities

  • Qualify potential leads and prospects within behavioral health private practices
  • Target net new and/or existing customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Utilize Hubspot (CRM) software to track leads, manage opportunities
  • Maintain data hygiene and accurate forecasting
  • Provide ongoing sales support and assistance to prospective customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective customers
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to close deals successfully
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as needed
  • Collaborate with internal team members and partners across our organization
