About The Position

This position will be responsible for driving school & community group sales revenue for Sesame Street Learn & Play at American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. School groups include Pre-K/K; community learning centers, day care centers and home schools.

Requirements

  • Direct sales experience
  • Knowledge of the NY/NJ school requirements, STEM experience a plus
  • Established contacts in the NY/NJ markets
  • Positive and outgoing attitude, with drive to succeed.
  • Strong communication, relationship building, and networking skills.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and creative
  • Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed group sale revenue budgets by establishing qualified leads, initiate, and closing sales
  • Utilize and suggest new content in established curriculum which is aligned with state and local requirements in conjunction with the business owners, educational ambassador and curriculum writer.
  • Answer all inbound group sales inquiries via AI lead gen system and/or Email/phone
  • Create an outbound cadence outreach to school group sales prospects
  • Ensure offering is listed on all relevant field trip websites
  • Provide customer service to clients throughout the purchase process in conjunction with educational ambassador.
  • Maintain positive client relationships year-round to cultivate repeat bookings, potentially uncover additional business opportunities, and gain referrals.
  • Maintain detailed records on pending and confirmed orders and sales.
  • Work with Ticketing to submit orders.
  • Ensure clear communication about payment deadlines
  • Responsible for creating any financial tracking statements for exempt client tax purposes
  • Coordinate with marketing team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
