About The Position

Sales Manager's responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to group customers, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining wellanized documentation and reports utilizing Hyatt systems. The ideal candidate has recent or current hotel group sales experience of 2 years or more with proven achievement of goals and client retention. Current deployment of the sales team does not include specific geographic territories; lead volume is high and supports alternating lead days. Prospecting goals established quarterly. Travel inside and outside the state for conferences, tradeshows and networking is required; experience in resort group sales is a plus. Flexible work from home options available. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years hotel group sales experience; resort group sales is a plus
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Requires selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills
  • Travel in and out of state is required as needed or assigned
