About The Position

The Group Sales Manager is an integral part of the revenue generation of a hotel. You will be responsible for soliciting past and new business and ensuring guests are satisfied. Here are some tasks you can be expected to complete on a daily basis: · Sell guest rooms, catering services, and banquet facilities to guests. · Manage accounts. · Conduct site inspections. · Network through participation in community and professional associations, activities and events.

Requirements

  • You must have at least a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years in hotel sales or comparable experience.
  • You are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well under pressure.
  • You must work professionally and positively with guests and clients at all times.
