About The Position

The Group Reservation Coordinator for Social Sales is responsible for managing group reservations, ensuring accurate entry of details, and providing exceptional service to guests and meeting planners. This role involves monitoring room blocks, communicating with various departments, and contributing to revenue through effective reservation management.

Requirements

• Experience in group reservations or related field.
• Strong computer skills for accurate data entry.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and planners.
• Ability to monitor and manage room blocks effectively.
• Proficiency in reservation systems such as NAVIS, Visual One, and Golf Pro.

Responsibilities

• Accurate computer entry of group reservation details from various sources.
• Interface with meeting planners regarding rooming list changes and VIP reservations.
• Provide personalized service to guest inquiries related to conference groups.
• Monitor group room block release dates and communicate with meeting planners.
• Keep supervisor informed of potential opportunities relating to group control room blocks.
• Monitor package code assignment and communicate with accounting.
• Contribute to social sales room revenue by converting inquiries to booked reservations.
• Maintain accurate room blocks and adhere to block release dates.
• Serve as back-up to Social Sales Coordinators as needed.
• Communicate professionally and timely with various departments and meeting planners.
• Become proficient with NAVIS, Visual One, and Golf Pro systems.
• Attend pre-convention and post-convention meetings as needed.
