About The Position

The Group Program Director provides operational leadership across a portfolio of key clients. This role strengthens execution, financial rigor, and long-range planning within a pod structure that includes the Principal, Group Creative Director, and Group Account Director. The GPD ensures that breakthrough creative work is supported by disciplined systems, thoughtful scope development, and proactive resource planning. The role brings clarity to complexity, builds scalable workflows, and protects both creative quality and business health across accounts.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience within leading creative or digital agencies.
  • Led operational or program management oversight across multiple accounts or portfolios.
  • Developed complex Statements of Work and managed significant budgets.
  • Negotiated talent rates, contracts, and resourcing structures aligned to scope realities.
  • Built and instituted scalable operational systems that improved execution.
  • Partnered closely with creative leadership to support breakthrough work.
  • Worked effectively within distributed, remote-first team environments.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in writing, over video, and in live settings
  • Manage multiple priorities across concurrent accounts with consistency and attention to detail
  • Operate effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment
  • Travel as needed to support client relationships, pitches, and key moments
  • Operational Backbone: Bring structure, discipline, and foresight to complex, multi-account environments.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Operations Leadership: Oversee project management and operational health across a defined group of key clients, ensuring visibility, alignment, and proactive planning.
  • Scope and Financial Stewardship: Support development of complex Statements of Work, maintain scope integrity, monitor margin health, and ensure alignment between staffing and financial realities.
  • Forecasting and Resource Planning: Provide portfolio-level visibility into revenue forecasting, utilization, capacity planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Systems and Workflow Development: Design and institute scalable processes that streamline operations across clients and improve cross-functional clarity.
  • Team Structuring: Continuously evaluate team composition to ensure optimal creative output, strong team chemistry, and alignment with scope and client needs.
  • Executive Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Principal, Group Creative Director, and Group Account Director to ensure high-caliber creative work is delivered efficiently and sustainably.
  • Operational Culture Building: Model and elevate operational standards across the organization, introducing improvements without disrupting creative momentum.
