The Job: As a Group Product Manager, you’ll be part of our product management team working as a hybrid employee.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, including 3+ years in team leadership roles
  • Proven success managing a broad consumer product portfolio
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence executive leadership
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with stage-gate or similar product development processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Cleaning Product Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and own the strategic roadmap for the BLACK+DECKER Cleaning portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Present portfolio strategies, business cases, and performance updates to executive leadership, driving alignment and influencing decision-making.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between the Cleaning team and partners in Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Integrate market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to shape product development and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the annual business planning process for the Cleaning portfolio, including revenue, margin, and market share targets; monitor performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Guide the identification, development, and launch of new products and line extensions; manage product lifecycles to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion continuous improvement in product management processes, tools, and best practices across the team.
