About The Position

We are seeking a visionary Group Product Manager to lead the development and strategy of quantum applications in the life sciences domain. In this role, you will work at the intersection of advanced computational technologies and industry-specific workflows, shaping products that solve complex scientific challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with key customers, and identify high-impact opportunities for quantum computing in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and related industries. Success requires a mix of technical understanding, business acumen, and strategic thinking to define use cases, prioritize initiatives, and drive adoption. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals, or related life sciences field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in computational workflows within life sciences (e.g., computational chemistry, imaging analysis, logistics optimization).
  • Strong experience conducting market analysis, strategic business planning, and complex project management with partial information.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in translating technical and business needs into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or experience in investment/business analysis, familiarity with quantum computing concepts, and exposure to advanced computing technologies (AI/ML, HPC, optimization algorithms).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute quantum application strategies for life sciences, leveraging market insights, customer needs, and industry-specific workflows.
  • Conduct business case analysis for potential applications, including market sizing, ROI estimation, customer segmentation, and alignment with technical capabilities.
  • Lead strategic customer consulting, discovery workshops, and technical validation to identify and prioritize quantum application opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to define implementation plans, translate requirements, and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Provide input to go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, business models, pricing, and competitive analysis.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the quantum ecosystem, including hardware, software, AI/ML integration, and life sciences computational workflows.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and act as the internal advocate for life sciences quantum applications, ensuring deliverables meet customer needs.
