About The Position

The Group Manager is responsible for coaching and providing technical assistance to the assigned team. This role involves maintaining compliance with standard procedures and operating modes in force. The manager ensures close assistance and supervision to relevant staff to adjust and develop tasks, training, and potential development. They manage assigned staff and propose development initiatives such as training, structural organization, and performance evaluation. The Group Manager may also take over the Expert role in their absence, and is responsible for planning and dividing tasks among team members. They contribute to the development of their area of responsibility by proposing improvement objectives and proposals, lead and coordinate tasks and activities according to set objectives, and contribute to compliance with defined budget limits. The role requires adherence to all QSE² procedures and operating instructions within the framework of operations linked to the job and the rules defined by the Group, acting in accordance with the ethical rules of the Group, and preserving secrecy and confidentiality with respect to all systems and data accessed within the normal framework of the function.

Requirements

  • 2-year college degree minimum in technical science in harmony with the assigned department focus areas
  • at least 2 years of field-related experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensures close assistance and supervision to relevant staff in order to adjust and develop tasks, training and potential development
  • Manages assigned staff and puts forward development proposals (training, structural organization, performance evaluation, etc.)
  • May take over the Expert role in her/his absence
  • Responsible for planning and dividing tasks among assigned team members
  • Contributes to the development of her/his area of responsibility by putting forward improvement objectives and proposals
  • Leads and coordinates tasks and activities within assigned area of responsibility according to the objectives set
  • Contributes to the compliance with defined budget limits
  • MUST APPLY ALL QSE² PROCEDURES AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF OPERATIONS LINKED TO HIS JOB AND THE RULES DEFINED BY THE GROUP.
