About The Position

The Group Lean Master Champion plays a pivotal role in shaping, deploying, and sustaining the company’s Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean culture. This leader defines the enterprise Lean transformation agenda, partners with executive leadership on strategic industrial initiatives, and coaches local CI and Lean champions to ensure consistent, effective deployment across all global sites. This role is responsible for embedding Lean principles into the company’s operating model, building organizational capability, and ensuring that Lean practices drive measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, with strong hands‑on Lean implementation experience across multiple global sites.
  • Proven track record leading Lean transformations in complex, multi‑site manufacturing environments.
  • Deep expertise in Lean methods and tools, including: Lean Leadership, Daily Management, KPI leadership, Standard Work, Gemba, VSM, 5S, Kanban, 6‑Sigma, and Structured Problem Solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible business results through transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the company-wide Lean transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Group VP Industrial strategy and executive leadership.
  • Embed Lean processes into the global business model, ensuring long‑term sustainment mechanisms.
  • Establish and maintain Lean governance structures, standard methodologies, and performance dashboards.
  • Lead annual Lean transformation activities, supporting the development of a robust CI toolkit for the global organization.
  • Coach and develop site Lean champions and site leadership teams to model and apply Lean behaviors effectively.
  • Provide advanced Lean training and set the vision for global Lean capability development programs, including training schedules and certification paths.
  • Act as the primary mentor for local CI champions, ensuring consistent standards, methods, and deployment quality.
  • Oversee deployment of the Lean Business System, including methodologies, tools, and standard work for process improvement.
  • Deploy Hoshin Kanri to cascade corporate goals into site‑level priorities and daily operations, ensuring alignment between financial, operational, and strategic objectives
  • Partner with site leadership to identify improvement opportunities and develop multi‑year CI roadmaps.
  • Work closely with the Group leadership team to support and influence strategic initiatives across Operations, Engineering, Industrial Strategy, and Supply Chain.
  • Drive cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts using structured Lean methodologies (e.g., A3, DMAIC, VSM).
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence across the entire organization.
