Program Overview: River Edge is actively looking for a Full-time Group Leader to join the Baldwin Outpatient Unit. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating group sessions, contributing to the therapeutic environment, and supporting the mental health and well-being of participants. Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social service-related field (social work, sociology, psychology, etc.).
License eligible in one of the following: LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW
At least one (1) year working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities).

Responsibilities

Provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention.
Assists in dealing with personal and social problems.
May provide support to consumers and serve as a liaison for social services.
Prepares lesson plans for group topics, maintains medical records and documents daily group notes.
Performs case management duties, and group skills training and refers clients to needed services and resources.
