We are seeking a candidate who possesses a profound understanding of effective teaching methodologies with a specialization in preschool education. Location: Maple Leaf Childcare Center: 41 Werner Road, Halfmoon NY 12065 Maple Leaf is looking to hire 3 teachers for the before/after school and Summer programs. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- References are required.
- Clear background checks and up-to-date health assessments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or ECE Degree Preferred
- Experienced in emergent curriculum approaches.
- Bilingual or experience with special education.
- Leadership or mentor experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead classes using an Emergent Curriculum that sparks curiosity
- Support emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a safe setting
- Partner with parents using strong communication and empathy
- Collaborate with specialists to meet each child's unique needs
- Maintain detailed records in line with EEC standards
