Instrumentation Management: Perform and document qualifications (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis), urgent repairs, and scheduled maintenance. Team Leadership: Supervise staff, coach and develop team members, foster morale, and support operational improvements. Workflow & Performance: Coordinate daily tasks to meet turnaround times (TAT), conduct performance reviews, manage training records, and support hiring and succession planning. Client & Project Support: Interface with clients and project teams to deliver asset and data management services. Vendor Coordination: Escort vendors for on-site maintenance and ensure proper documentation. System & Compliance: Input data into GMARS, support change controls and investigations, and report on service metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology) with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Experience with HPLC required.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking while maintaining accurate records and following procedures.
  • Candidates within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.

  • GC, KF, UV-Vis; familiarity with GMARS asset management system preferred.
