Responsibilities

  • Train team members and monitor all essential functions for all current employees.
  • Serve as a working lead covering positions in Guest Services.
  • Communicate with patients, visitors, and customers using appropriate designated scripting and engagement techniques.
  • Conduct required one-on-one training using approved techniques, procedures, and educational materials.
  • Facilitate staffing and maintain adequate coverage of all Guest Services/Volunteer Services areas.
  • Coordinate constant flow of information to the Guest Services/Volunteer Services staff.
  • Monitor all essential functions for all current employees in various areas.
  • Identify patient and non-patient areas that need attention prior to them becoming complaints or problems.
  • Act as the project team leader utilizing necessary equipment in the completion of tasks and assignments.
  • Monitor team member productivity and patient throughput activities.
  • Serve as a working lead rotating weekends Leader on Duty.
  • Work closely with Volunteer Services team to plan orientation, training, and recognition.
  • Attend meetings related to developing their programs.
  • Assign volunteers to service areas.
  • Conduct Orientation and specific service training.
  • Coach team members to achieve and sustain performance.
  • Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the associate degree.
