Reporting to the Cookie Product Manager, this position will lead all phases of Cookie production on the AM shift. The AM Cookie Lead will be responsible for leadership, team development (utilizing the Campbell Leadership Model) and in achieving results for: safety performance, schedule attainment, conformance to specifications, direct labor, process yield, and meeting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments. Also ensures that all food safety and quality requirements are met, including site standards, company policies and regulations. In addition, the AM Cookie Lead is responsible for identifying and leading project driven improvement teams utilizing continuous improvement tools - Focused Improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma and A3/RCA as they relate to Cookie production improvements. This position may be required to rotate shifts if needed to fill vacancies, further personal development and/or develop teams. Must be available to work weekends.

  • Lead activities to improve the Safety, Reliability, Cost, and Quality of the Cookie production lines.
  • Demonstrate leadership consistent with the Campbell Leadership Model and behaviors by promoting participative, open communication with team members.
  • Maintain positive employment relations on the shift through fair, consistent interpretation, coaching feedback, and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct goal setting objectives and annual performance reviews of team.
  • Take necessary action to meet schedule attainment, direct labor, and process yield budgetary commitments.
  • Lead Daily Direction Setting meetings and improve Standard Work Processes.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with various disciplines of continuous improvement including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping software, SAP software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint processing software required.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
