A healthier future. It's what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That's what makes us Roche. Advances in AI, data, and computational sciences are transforming drug discovery and development. Roche's Research and Early Development organisations at Genentech (gRED) and Pharma (pRED) have demonstrated how these technologies accelerate R&D, leveraging data and novel computational models to drive impact. Seamless data sharing and access to models across gRED and pRED are essential to maximising these opportunities. The new Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CoE) is a strategic, unified group whose goal is to harness this transformative power of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist our scientists in both pRED and gRED to deliver more innovative and transformative medicines for patients worldwide. Within the CoE, Computational Medicine focuses on developing and applying innovative data analysis solutions to support clinical development - furthering our understanding of disease, disease progression, and individual patient response to treatment. In partnership with our scientists across gRED and pRED, we create better medicines by augmenting every part of R&D through our data-driven culture. The Opportunity: This role will ensure that gRED and pRED are supported and enabled with world-leading clinical imaging expertise and imaging data analytics capabilities while supporting our projects through the clinical stages. You will lead a team of clinical imaging experts and image data analysts in South San Francisco and report into the Global Head of Computational Medicine. As the Group Leader of Imaging Data Insights, you enable the team to support early clinical development projects including formulating scientific questions with cross-functional collaborators, developing the imaging strategy, executing image data analysis plans, and applying innovative analysis solutions for generating insights from patient populations using internal and external imaging data from clinical trials alongside other datatypes (e.g., sensors, -omics) to guide clinical stage molecules. You deliver impact on the Roche portfolio and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities include making decisions on talent, resourcing, business processes, and capability development, contributing to the organization's overall success.
