Group Leader Central Sterile Supply
About The Position
The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with the CSP Manager, oversee shift preparation and issuance of all supplies, medical and surgical, used in the care and treatment of patients. Position Purpose Ensure procedures are followed when handling, sterilizing, and packaging medical and surgical items to ensure cleanliness and sterility of items. What you will do Ensures established aseptic standards are followed to minimize potential for spread of infection and/or disease. Trains new staff on department procedures. Maintains a positive attitude and provides constructive feedback and suggestions to ensure department’s needs are met. Requirements
- Education: High School education with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Sterile Processing Department.
- Certification: CSP certification required with the ability to train new staff.
Nice To Haves
- Operating Room experience preferred.
