About The Position

Oversees the shipping and receiving of the assigned product lines and delegates the daily work assignments. May perform production work as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
• High School diploma or General Education Degree.

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the shipping of products, ensuring the highest level of quality at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards.
• Organizes space, equipment and personnel work assignments for successful execution of the production schedule, making adjustments as necessary.
• Resolves routine department and personnel problems, while reporting non-routine problems to supervisor.
• Receives deliveries, processes forms and keeps inventory records.
• Contacts and schedules carriers.
• Trains employees; assigns and directs work; provides feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
