Position Purpose This position is responsible for managing/leading the shop floor inspection operations organization.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in manufacturing
5- years of experience with quality in a manufacturing environment
Leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
5 years’ experience as Quality Inspections Operations in a Configurable Manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Comfortable in an in-person office environment
Technical competence is a plus
Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
Must have excellent follow-through skills
Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
Must be open to domestic and international travel
Desire and proven ability to learn and grow

Responsibilities

Personnel management/development and improvement/development of systems.
Apply Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques for continuous improvement and feedback of product quality along with production throughput.
Ensure schedule achievement to JCB Quality Standards
Ensure daily production targets are met
Support ongoing initiatives by ensuring all team members are updated and informed regularly
Understand and drive the JCB quality standards within your area(s) including coaching and training Team Leaders to do the same
Manage the implementation of the JCB Production System in your area(s) to ensure continuous improvement through Kaizen and 5S
Effectively manage budgeted resources by analyzing problem areas and actively pursuing and encouraging cost savings
Ensure that you and your team understand and use safe systems of work in the area and follow company environmental practices.
Ensure that proper training for all team members is maintained
Provide direct personnel management including setting of goals, quality oversight and performance evaluations
