The Analytical Chemistry Group Lead will offer mentorship to complete analytical development and quality control tasks.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Science
• Several years of experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical QC laboratory preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams with respect, diplomacy, and integrity
• Is experienced in GMP and GDP
• Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on, detailed work, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate high standard of ethics, integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Build and manage schedules for day-to-day lab activities
• Review and approve test notes, specifications, and analytical test reports
• Represent the group at inspections conducted by clients and regulatory bodies
• Primary point of communication with the team
• Distribution of projects and continuous improvement tasks and track progress
• Review and approve lab employee training
• Continuously identify more effective ways to drive performance
• Effectively manage performance of direct reports
• Support and manage CAPEX-related processes, where applicable
• Contribute to site growth initiatives by supporting strategic and operational projects
