As part of supporting the growing Fulton Hogan business operations, we are seeking to appoint Network Systems Engineer to join our Australian IT team based in either Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelade on a 12-month fixed term contract. The key elements of this role will enable you to plan, design, implement, support, and maintain IT network and communications infrastructure across a number of sites. You will work alongside an IT team that supports the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure and business systems. You will work with both internal subject matter experts and external partners that work closely together as a virtual team, to deliver the right infrastructure network outcomes for the Fulton Hogan Group. Interstate travel is required in this position.

Requirements

  • You will have between 1 and 2 years of experience with network infrastructure (Switch and Wireless technologies) as well as a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Your knowledge of/experience with change management in an Enterprise environment as well as strong documentation skills will set you up for success.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and a positive attitude will see integrate quickly with the team and deliver positive outcomes for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and maintain a wide view of Fulton Hogan’s IS/IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Review and analyse improvements to existing IS/IT Infrastructure, processes and procedures.
  • Evaluate, design and implement IS/IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Support delivery of Fulton Hogan continuous improvement program.
  • Conduct onsite visits (Scheduled/Unscheduled) to provide direct support where required.
  • Ensure that all set SLA times for incident and problem resolution are met along with maintaining and improving customer satisfaction levels: Onsite and/or Remote.
  • Resolve key incidents and service outages to ensure efficient and effective service restoration.
