About The Position

The Supervising Group Home Worker position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the group home including monitoring and supporting the program to ensure a safe, therapeutic and nurturing home environment.

Requirements

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in human services, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory and/or management experience in a congregate care setting or related childcare or human services environment.
Flexible availability required including nights, weekends, holidays and on-call rotation.
Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency
Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
Skills: demonstrated decision making, organizational and communication skills including attention to detail, oral and written communication skills and training skills; ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize, prioritize and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of internal and external organizational policies and practices; ability to become TCI certified and First Aid/CPR trained.
