About The Position

Clay County Group Home staff manage the activities of daily living for their residents. Adhering to the guidelines and policies of the program the group home staff by guiding, teaching, and correcting the residents with duties such as supervising meal preparation and household chores, assisting with homework, transporting residents to school, appointments, and other scheduled activities, and administering medications while developing rapport, resolving problems, and communicating clearly.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to effectively use conflict resolution solutions
• Be a team player
• Valid driver’s license
• Liability insurance
• Youth Specialist position: high school diploma or equivalent
• Deputy Juvenile Officer: bachelor’s degree in a related field
