We are hiring for the position of Group Home Manager at RHA Health Services, where you will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those facing mental health and substance use challenges. This full-time position involves supervising and coordinating the activities of Direct Support employees while managing the operations of 1-3 facilities that provide Non-ICF services. As a Group Home Manager, you will lead and direct the work of Direct Support Associates, ensuring that the operations of the assigned locations run smoothly and effectively. In this role, you will work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain open lines of communication and provide constructive feedback. You will be responsible for standardizing procedures and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans. A significant part of your job will involve spending adequate time in the residential facility, monitoring staff interactions and relationships with the individuals supported, and maintaining harmony among employees and clients. You will serve as a positive role model and provide audits for medication administration, resolve employee issues, and conduct performance reviews. Additionally, you will ensure that employees meet training requirements and attend necessary events, monitor select budget items, and provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs, as well as the capability to provide CPR after certification.
