About The Position

Looking for a highly motivated LPN who can work well independently in a residential setting. This position will require travel between two locations and coordination of services for adults with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• State of Ohio Nursing License and current with required CEUs
• Verification of pharmacology course (NAPNES_OPNES)
• On call responsibilities

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Delegation of nursing tasks in accordance with the Board of Nursing
• Training Direct Support Professionals in the skills needed to perform selected tasks according to the rules and regulations of the Board of Nursing and Department of Developmental Disabilities
• Providing supervision and professional nursing care to the individuals under the direction of the Director of nursing.
• Responsible for nursing quality control measures
• Administration of medication as required
• Collects data and provides written input for ISP meetings
• Monitoring medication administration records
• On call duties
