About The Position
LSSI is hiring a Group Home Head Nurse/RN Trainer (Contract Only), to maintain excellent oversight of the client's healthcare including training of direct support personnel and follow OHS requirements. SALARY: This is a 1099 contract position (indefinite end date) $30-32/hourly
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- Ability to complete the OHS Nurse Trainer Training within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to communicate well.
Responsibilities
- Train staff to supervise client self-administration of medications.
- Prepare nursing service packets and other client paperwork.
- Prepare and administer injections and treatments as needed.
- Examine client's vital signs and symptoms of disease.
- Oversee medication cabinet for proper storage control.
- Work in both Sterling/Dixon locations
- Keep records needed for OHS.
- Review MARS bi-monthly.
- Liaison with doctors, nurses, and/or pharmaceutical staff if needed.
- Other duties as assigned
