About The Position

The Group Head of Corporate Real Estate Services at Aspen Insurance will have global responsibility for leadership and direction for all Real Estate Portfolio, Lease Options and Administration, Corporate Real Estate Services, Corporate Interiors Design & Construction, Workplace Experience, Travel Services, Health & Safety, and Energy & Sustainability. This role will ensure alignment with the agreed budget/spend, Service Catalogue, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and processes across the US, Bermuda, UK, and International platforms. The position requires strategic planning and project management related to the Group premises, including acquisition, relocation, and disposal, while ensuring compliance with global and regional codes and regulations. The role also emphasizes the importance of Aspen's core values in delivering performance and achieving departmental goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years managing a global corporate real estate and property management portfolio.
• Professional qualifications at a degree level or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in facilities and real estate strategy.
• Strong experience in managing CRES budget efficiently and risk management.
• Demonstrated high intellect and robust emotional intelligence.
• Good working knowledge of company systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational vision and divisional strategy into operational deliverables.
• Drive departmental performance through effective planning and control mechanisms.
• Develop and deliver Aspen's Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) budget and strategy.
• Maintain a modern and agile financial architecture in collaboration with the Finance team.
• Deliver all hard and soft services to Aspen Group CRES Portfolio.
• Manage external Real Estate broker services and liaise with agents, landlords, and architects.
• Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
• Use performance management techniques to monitor service levels and lead improvements.
• Manage CRES staff and third-party outsourced managed services providers.
• Collaborate with Group Sourcing on global and regional sourcing initiatives.
• Lead a global team to deliver services across diverse market practices.
• Accountable for managing workplace experience consistent with the Aspen Brand.
• Establish sustainability goals and drive strategy to achieve targets.
• Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to achieve maximum value.
• Directly manage construction projects from conception to completion.
• Manage building space allocation, layout, and communication services.
• Oversee Health & Safety management.
• Communicate with tenants and plan essential central services.
• Manage the new office opening process and oversee local site management.
• Responsible for the purchase and management of Group General Insurance policies.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Programs.
• Manage Location and Business Continuity audits.
• Develop and motivate the functional management team.
