About The Position

The position involves instructing safe and effective exercise classes while maintaining all mandatory education certifications. The instructor will be responsible for following all policies, procedures, and standards set by the club or facility. The role requires a professional disposition at all times and the ability to facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager. The instructor will also participate in monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR Certification.
• Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred.
• Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication.
