Group Fitness Instructor
About The Position
Responsible for teaching group fitness classes at specified Elevation locations in the Clayton, Missouri area as well as being available to provide front desk and group fitness class coverage on an as needed basis (on call). This position provides safe, motivating, and effective individual and group exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others in person and virtually. Provides up-to-date quality training and high energy motivation to members and participants in order to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED certification - required
- Experience teaching group exercise classes (strength, bootcamp, HIIT) - required
- Covid Vaccine - required at some locations
Nice To Haves
- Personal training certification - preferred
- BS in Exercise Science or related field - preferred
- Specialty group fitness class certifications - preferred
