About The Position

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading safe and effective exercise classes for clients of all fitness levels. This role requires maintaining valid certifications and adhering to the policies and procedures of the facility. The instructor will also actively promote group classes and company events through social media, ensuring a strong connection with members and the community. The position reports to the Group Fitness Class-ic Coordinator, General Manager, and Franchise Owner/Operator, and involves participation in regular department and training meetings.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR Certification
• Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification: AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred
• Valid Yoga or Pilates Certifications also acceptable
• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
• Strong customer service skills
• Good verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
• Actively market/promote group classes & company events/promotions through social media.
