About The Position

If that sounds like you, then keep reading because OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach inspired, science backed and technology tracked workouts. We are looking for coaches who can make our members feel welcome, and that they’re an integral part of the hour you spend together. Coaches whose positive energy stays with a member long after they’ve left the studio, and they find themselves counting the hours till their next workout. Requirements

  • Must be CPR/AED certified
  • Certifications we accept: ACE CPT ISSA CPT ACE GFI CSCS ACSM CPT NSCA ACSM GEI NSCA CPT ACSM EP NCSF CPT AFAA GFI NASM CPT
  • Individuals with an advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science (BS), Masters of Science (MS), Ph.D., DPT) in the field listed below, Obtained in 2010 or later with a current AED/CPR certification, are eligible to be considered as a Coach Candidate
  • Kinesiology
  • Exercise Science
  • Health Science
  • Movement Science
  • Exercise Physiology
  • General Fitness
  • Athletic Training
  • Pre-Professional Health (e.g., Physical Therapy Fitness or Sports Condition Specialization
  • Minors in the degrees listed above are not accepted
  • Weekday Mornings, Weekday Evenings, Weekends Mornings

Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
  • Helping members set and achieve goals
  • Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
  • Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
  • Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
  • Being a team player
  • Ability to multitask in a highly stimulating environment
  • Eager to learn and adapt to changes and follow OTF brand guidelines
  • Attend monthly staff meetings
  • Take 2 or more OTF workouts each week
  • Coach 8 or more classes per week
