About The Position

Mainspring Recovery is seeking passionate, skilled clinicians to join our team as Group Facilitators. This role is ideal for licensed or associate-licensed clinicians who enjoy leading dynamic clinical groups and want meaningful opportunities to actively practice evidence-based therapeutic modalities in a collaborative treatment environment. As a Group Facilitator, you will lead engaging, clinically grounded group sessions for clients in Residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. This position offers the opportunity to facilitate groups using modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR-informed approaches, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and other structured therapeutic frameworks. This is a hands-on, client-facing role designed for clinicians who want to sharpen their group facilitation skills, deepen modality experience, and make a direct impact on client outcomes without the demands of full caseload management.

Requirements

  • Associate-licensed clinicians must be actively working toward full licensure under approved supervision.
  • Experience facilitating clinical or psychoeducational groups preferred.
  • Experience working in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment settings preferred.
  • Strong interest in group facilitation and experiential clinical work.
  • Working knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR-informed care, or trauma-focused approaches.
  • Excellent verbal communication and group engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage group dynamics and maintain therapeutic structure.
  • Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate clinical group therapy sessions for clients in Residential, PHP, and IOP programs.
  • Lead groups using evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR-informed approaches, and other therapeutic frameworks aligned with program needs.
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging group environment that promotes insight, skill-building, accountability, and recovery.
  • Prepare and deliver group content that aligns with treatment goals, program curriculum, and clinical best practices.
  • Adapt facilitation style to meet the developmental, emotional, and clinical needs of diverse client populations.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and treatment teams to ensure group content supports individualized treatment plans.
  • Document group participation and clinical observations in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in clinical consultation or supervision as required based on licensure status.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support clinical programming and continuity of care.
