About The Position

Do you believe you can transform lives one class at a time? We do.

We are looking for a certified group fitness instructor who loves what they do
and also knows that a group exercise class can engage a member like nothing
else! An instructor who understands that connecting with members in class can
inspire and set members on a track to a healthier life! If that's you - read on!

Requirements

• One of the following: National Group Fitness certification, yoga certification, cycle certification, pilates certification, Les Mills certification
• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members, aiding wellness, and building relationships
• The ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you

Responsibilities

• Finding new and engaging ways to connect with our members during class
• Instructing an effective, safe class for all abilities in the gym
• Willing and able to serve as a substitute for fellow instructors
• To be proud to wear your Y gear and be an advocate for us
