The position involves leading, supervising, and instructing members and guests in exercise classes aimed at improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The instructor is responsible for demonstrating proper techniques and routines, communicating exercise physiology principles in an understandable manner, and educating participants on proper form, anatomy, contraindications, and modifications of exercises. The role also includes developing diverse and enjoyable routines, maintaining knowledge of wellness trends, keeping attendance records, encouraging participant commitment, and addressing safety concerns. The instructor will be involved in multi-discipline classes such as Kickboxing, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi.
