As a Cardio & Strength Instructor at the Ipswich Y, you’ll help members reach their health goals by delivering dynamic, engaging classes that build strength, boost endurance, and create a positive, fun workout environment. We’re currently hiring for morning classes, with the opportunity to pick up a variety of additional shifts throughout the week. In this role, you will: Lead high-quality Cardio & Strength group classes with energy and enthusiasm Demonstrate proper form and technique while offering safe, effective modifications Help members build confidence and maintain motivation Create a welcoming environment that keeps participants coming back Utilize our high-quality equipment and dedicated class spaces To be successful, you bring: Experience teaching group exercise classes—especially strength and cardio formats Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to engage and motivate participants of all fitness levels Solid knowledge of exercise principles, functional movement, and strength training techniques Join our supportive team and play a key role in helping our community embrace active, healthier lives. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Consistent availability
  • Experience teaching group exercise classes—especially strength and cardio formats
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Solid knowledge of exercise principles, functional movement, and strength training techniques
