Since 2004, Top Dog SF has been San Francisco’s go-to for positive-reinforcement dog training, puppy programs, and off-leash dog walking adventures. Our team transports small groups of dogs daily to our private, secure dog ranch in Montara, CA , where they run, play, and socialize safely. Requirements
- Valid California Driver’s License (Class C) and clean driving record
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) for communication and reporting
- Comfortable managing up to 15 dogs at once (with assistant support)
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
Nice To Haves
- Confident driving a van in SF traffic (5+ years of city driving preferred).
Responsibilities
- Drive & Transport Dogs: Safely pick up and drop off dogs in company vans along established routes.
- Lead Off-Leash Adventures: Supervise and engage groups of dogs during off-leash play at our Montara ranch.
- Capture the Fun: Take photos and share quick daily updates with clients using our mobile app.
- Keep It Clean: Maintain a tidy, safe vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Keep Learning: Complete Dog Walker University , Pet CPR/First Aid , and ongoing training in dog behavior and handling.

- $22/hour+ , depending on experience
- Full-time (35–40 hrs/week) or part-time (≈ 20 hrs/week)
