About The Position
The Justice Group is searching for an experienced Finance Director, reporting directly to the Justice Group Leader. The Group Finance Director has responsibility for the financial, planning and analysis for our group of companies - leading our collective efforts to establish budgets and forecasts, compare actuals to forecast and provide financial guidance and insights to each company General Manager and the Group Leader. The Group Finance Director has oversight for the financial operations of the companies within the Group. Each of our companies has finance managers (and associated finance teams) responsible for the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end and quarter-end accounting, invoicing, collections, expense management, revenue recognition, and compliance with statutory requirements. The Group Finance Director is also responsible for corporate governance, financial risk management, and associated legal matters of our companies. When we acquire new companies into the Justice Group, you will be required to take on an Integration Finance Manager role to oversee the business integration activities. This position is right for you if you are results-oriented, have a high level of energy, can connect financial results and trends to business operations, have high attention to detail, and communicate concisely and effectively among company executives. As a member of the group leadership team, you will share a passion for developing the finance team talent across the group with a focus on building sustained long-term growth and creating a fantastic place to work. This position builds foundational knowledge and experience to support advancement to other key financial roles in Volaris. This is a fully remote role, but the ability to meet in person on an as needed basis in Mississauga, Canada is required.
