About The Position
Group Fitness Cycle Instructor - East YMCA of Dane County Join the Y team today! Looking for an awesome team and place to grow, learn and create community? East YMCA of Dane County is looking for Cycle instructors. Early morning and Weekend availability preferred. Home location, East YMCA, plus would be able to sub and teach in all locations. FREE YMCA Membership! Including all 3 locations. Create Change, be part of new programs and a growing team that values you! Immediate opportunities are available to teach on the schedule. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Cycle Group Fitness certification required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Early morning and Weekend availability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides high quality, safe and motivating instruction; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
- Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests.
- Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
- Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
- Works well independently and on a team.
- Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
- Be available to support fellow instructors by subbing where possible.
- Teaching is available in all 3 locations.
