About The Position

As our Group Creative Director, you'll be reporting to our Executive Creative Director, and lead our copy and storytelling efforts, while also setting the bar to creatively lead a diverse team of copywriters, designers, video editors, art directors, and animators ranging from class launches, campaigns to product launches. Your passion for storytelling and strategic vision will shape how we communicate with our global audience. Whether through advertising campaigns, digital experiences, products, social content, or printed materials, you'll ensure our voice is fresh, authentic, engaging, and unmistakably MasterClass.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in creative roles, with a focus on producing standout work for global brands.
  • Experience directing copy, art direction, design, video, animation, and other creative disciplines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conceptual and strategically-led campaign development.
  • Experience in both agency and in-house environments.
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure while maintaining speed and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback across creative disciplines.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with performance marketing and enterprise brands preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining brand voice and tone guidelines.
  • Understanding of performance marketing and its integration with creative strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versatility in writing styles and tones.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the creative vision and strategy for creative campaigns, products, and marketing communications.
  • Inspire your team to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
  • Write, define, and champion the tone and voice of marketing copy across various channels.
  • Deliver on-strategy, on-target, and on-brand messages and ensure other writers are doing the same.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop forward-thinking ideas and strategies.
  • Develop and mentor a team of copywriters, designers, and art directors.
  • Provide creative direction and oversight across copy, art direction, design, video, animation, and other creative disciplines.
  • Deliver compelling, on-brand messages across all touchpoints.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously seek new ways to tell our story.
