About The Position

Main Responsibilities Advise internal clients and review and interpret legal issues in assigned areas of responsibility. Prepares, interprets and reviews quotes, agreements, contracts, pleadings, documents and correspondence Provides legal support and recommends optimal (and practical) course of action when disputes arise Provides proactive support to avoid problems. Focus on strategic initiatives to efficiently manage risk Manages outside legal counsel and monitors, supervises, and evaluates their representation of Yanfeng, both in terms of their expertise and cost. Proposes, develops and monitors preventive law and compliance programs to reduce company exposure to legal risks Keeps current of trends and changes in the law and regulations relevant to the automotive industry Commercial, Contracts, Corporate, M&A, Dispute Resolution and ideally also Real Estate experience Emphasis on commercial work and support of Procurement Department and Customer Business Units Train the functional teams to be proficient in key terms and contract law. Develop templates, self-help tools, policies, procedures, and best practices. Support corporate governance and entity management. Help develop GenAI applicability for repetitive, low-risk support Specific Requirements Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of broad based commercial and corporate law experience in a law firm and/or multinational company Fluency in English language Strong communications skills Ability to work independently Education: Superior academic achievement and must be admitted to practice law in at least one State Essential Common Requirements · International Operating System (IOS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related IOS requirements. · Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements. · Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements. · Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements · Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements. · Must comply with all company policies and procedures. · Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time. · Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels. · Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of broad based commercial and corporate law experience in a law firm and/or multinational company
  • Fluency in English language
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work independently
